Parents, please read through this page and learn more about your role at Monarch Academy! You are important in your child's learning! Here at Monarch we want you to be involved and in the loop.
Safety First
COVID-19 changed the way we go about teaching forever, which is why an online option is available, as well as the option to mask yourself and your child. Disinfecting the classroom items will be done every day four times a day, including in the morning, after lunch, and after a snack at the end of the day. Please reach out for any other ideas you have for keeping everyone safe!
Arriving at School
Drop Off will begin at 7:00. There will be a member of our team standing outside and opening doors and greeting you and the child, make sure you have your Student Identification Card in your window or on your window. Drop- Off will work the same way as well. Breakfast will be served until 7:30.
Dress Code
Students express themselves through dress. We do not have uniforms! Students are free to wear what makes them the most comfortable. Students should bring extra pair of clothes to keep in case of emergency, and a pair of gym shoes if they wear sandals. This is for safety. Extra School Clothes will be provided as well in case of Emergency or an extra pair is forgotten.
Holidays & Absence
In case of weather cancelation and the Holiday schedules please refer to the News and Events page for that information. We will also be using Class Dojo which you will get a link to after acceptance in order to communicate. In case of student absences, you will need to contact us and let them know prior to 7:40. After 4 or more unexcused absences we will have to set up a meeting to talk about further action going forward.
